With a Bachelor of Commerce, Hospitality and a strong background in the Property and Casualty insurance industry, Ly brings a unique blend of business insight, risk management expertise, and real-world safety experience.

Throughout her career, Ly has worked in sales, underwriting, and risk management, earning several insurance industry designations. She served as the employee chair member for the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC), where she strengthened her understanding of workplace safety, compliance, and injury prevention—knowledge that now shapes her training approach.

Customer service has been at the core of every role Ly has held. Known for her active listening, problem-solving, and solution-focused mindset, she works closely with clients to understand their needs and provide training to meet those needs. After gaining further experience with a health and safety company that later closed, Ly founded 180 Safety Training to continue providing dependable, accessible, and compliant safety education to organizations of all sizes.

Harold Watts is a trusted and experienced instructor with over 20 years of expertise in workplace safety training and respiratory fit testing. He specializes in delivering comprehensive Material Handling Equipment training and certification for organizations of all sizes across multiple industries.

His training programs include certification for the safe operation of equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs). Harold works closely with both small businesses and large organizations to ensure employees are properly trained, competent, and compliant with applicable safety standards.

Safety is at the core of Harold’s instruction. He holds trainees to a high standard of performance and emphasizes the importance of proper operating procedures, hazard awareness, and regulatory compliance. His goal is to ensure that no shortcuts are taken when it comes to safe equipment use in the workplace.
