Who Should Take TDG Training?
TDG training is designed for workers who handle, offer for transport, or transport dangerous goods by road. This may include employees working in shipping and receiving, warehousing, manufacturing, construction, transportation and distribution.
TDG Course Topics
Our instructor-led TDG training covers key requirements for safely handling and transporting dangerous goods, including:
- TDG roles and responsibilities
- Classification and the nine classes of dangerous goods
- Shipping names and UN numbers
- Shipping documents
- Safety marks, labels and placards
- Means of containment
- Safe handling and transportation
- Reporting and emergency response requirements
TDG Training Validity
For transportation by road, a TDG training certificate is valid for 36 months (three years) from the date of issue.
Course Scope: This course focuses on the transportation of dangerous goods by road and does not cover air or rail transportation.
